Ms. Marvel
Film and Television | 3D Modeling & Visualization | Concept Design & Illustration | Fabrication & Practical Effects
I was honored to have Ms. Marvel as my first opportunity to work with Marvel Studios, and I’m deeply grateful to have collaborated with such a talented team across both the Costume and Props departments.
For Props, I worked closely with legendary prop master Russell Bobbitt. I was tasked with 3D modeling Ms. Marvel’s original bangle, creating two versions — a short and an extended design — based on provided concept art. Although the bangle was digitally replaced in the final show, it was an incredible experience helping bring the design to life in physical form. I also 3D modeled the Damage Control Sonic Rifle, modifying it from concept artwork provided by John Eaves, as well as the Red Dagger arm pin, which was similarly adapted from the provided designs. Additionally, I modeled and 3D printed a belt sword for one of the Clandestine characters, based on concept art from John Eaves.
On the Costume side, I was responsible for 3D modeling Ms. Marvel’s domino mask based on provided concept art. I handled the 3D printing, molding, and casting of both the hero and stunt versions of the mask. I also modeled and printed Ms. Marvel’s thunderbolt chest emblem, which was used to create molds for the final costume pieces.
This project was especially meaningful to me, not only because it was my first time working with Marvel, but also because it allowed me to contribute across two departments, gaining invaluable experience in both prop and costume production.
