I'm Darrell Maloney — a 3D concept designer, motion designer, graphic artist, and prop maker driven by a passion for building the worlds we imagine. From film sets to digital screens, I specialize in creating the visual pieces that help stories come alive.

I’ve been working in 3D modeling for over a decade and have more than eight years of experience in 3D printing and fabrication. I launched my professional film career in 2020 with Marvel Studios, working as a specialty 3D modeler on Ms. Marvel, and continued contributing to projects like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and Spider-Man: No Way Home. Since then, my work has expanded across film, television, and commercial marketing, blending creativity and technical skill to meet the demands of every production.

Whether it's a hero prop, a piece of costume armor, a specialty item, or a motion-driven visual, my focus is always on translating vision into reality. I work in Blender, Cinema 4D, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Adobe Creative Suite, rendering with engines like Redshift and Octane. I also have extensive hands-on experience with 3D printing, using both resin and FDM technologies, along with various slicing and modeling softwares to prepare parts for production. My background in fabrication, mold making, and painting allows me to design pieces that are not only visually striking, but also fully optimized for real-world building.
