Ironheart
Film and Television | Coming Soon | 3D Modeling & Visualization | Concept Design & Illustration
I had the chance to work on Ironheart as part of the props team, collaborating closely with Russell Bobbitt. My role involved conceptualizing and 3D modeling a wide variety of pieces that needed to go from idea to something that could actually be built and used on set.
One of my main tasks was developing Riri’s leg endoskeleton—both a clean, pristine version and a damaged version. These pieces had to be engineered carefully to fit the actress and function in a practical, manufacturable way, which made the process both challenging and incredibly rewarding. I also designed the arc reactor for Riri, making sure all the parts were workable for fabrication.
Another fun part of the project was creating a range of bombs for one of the villains, along with developing and modeling Zelma’s magic glasses. Each item needed to feel grounded in the world of the show while still being possible to build.
More than anything, I’m grateful I got to be part of a bigger team of talented artists and craftspeople. Getting to help bring these ideas to life was a real privilege, and I learned a lot from everyone I worked with along the way.
